SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Iam agreeing with the following terms concerning my submission of materials (my “Portfolio Submissions”) to TECNOTOON® ANIMATION. I understand that, to protect your creative development process, Tecnotoon will not review materials submitted for employment evaluation unless the submitter agrees to these release terms.
I represent and warrant that my Portfolio Submissions are original and do not violate the rights of any party.

WE NEED

  1. A resume is absolutely essential. PORTFOLIOS will be returned if a resume is not submitted at the same time. A brief letter outlining your area of interest (2D animator, assistant, ink and paint, designer, layout artist, storyboard, etc.) is also important.
  2. All work must be submitted in a traditional PORTFOLIO or other easily-managed case. No rolled samples, please! PORTFOLIOS should be no more than 24x30 inches. (60x75 cm)
  3. All work should be mounted on heavy paper or behind plastic on standard PORTFOLIO pages. Mounting on illustration board and matting is not necessary or recommended.
  4. If pastel, chalk or charcoal works are presented, they must be fixed and/or mounted behind plastic.
  5. The artist's email, name, or initials must be on each page or sample.
  6. PORTFOLIOS should not exceed 25 pages of work. A sketch book, short video tape or portfolio page with several drawings is considered one page.
  7. Please do not send stretched and/or framed work.
  8. Slides and/or photocopies are acceptable, especially for color work. Whenever possible, life drawing should be presented in original medium.
  9. Videotapes should be clear and no longer then four minutes. A table of contents identifying each sequence and the artist's responsibility on that sequence must be included. (NTSC format please. VHS or 3/4 inch tape are fine.)
  10. PORTFOLIOS not meeting these requirements may not be evaluated.
